San Diego Surf College Cup Wrap Up
This photo says it all;
And some new jackets!
From the sidelines
I will have to say I am extremely proud of the way the girls came together this weekend. With only having one practice indoors under their belt the lady warriors rose up, came together and pulled off a Surf Cup Championship. This says volumes for the 2011/2012 squad. They did it with the grace and ease of a champion. They fought off illness, injuries and a short roster to prove once again they are a top contender in the U16 ranks. A very special 'THANK YOU' goes out to Maddie Hairston who flat out kicked some serious butt Sodium Style this weekend. Wow, hope she is joining us in Seattle next weekend.
Hats off to you ladies, here's to a great season!
Sunburned, we will be screaming out loud: GO SODIUM!!!

Semifinal action
At the half, Sodium down 1-0. Refs blew the equalizer as the shot it the crossbar glanced into the and spun out. NW Nat'l keeper grabs the ball to throw it out and was just as stunned as the rest at the no call. Sodium has controlled the entire game with multiple shots and the defense pushing up to midfield.
Keep the good mojo flowing!

vs Beach final
While the play was wild and wooly, the Beach parents were something to behold. Swearing at our players, screaming at the refs. Unbelievable. They even were screaming when Sodium scored to the point where there own daughters had to come over and tell them that the ball actually did go in before they would shut up. Classless backwood idiots.
Anyway, Beach won the match today besides being outplayed, but I sure hope we see them in the playoffs.
I think it is funny that this team is at the end of their club season and played like this and this is the second time Sodium has taken the field together without practicing once. I look forward to our next meeting.
Up next; Futeca Camp Elite from Guatemala.
GO SODIUM!!
Sodium at the half
A fiesty Beach team scored twice to take a 2-1 halftime lead. Sodium dominating possession and shots on frame.
Go Sodium!!
